The client came to us with a loud clunking noise in the suspension when turning the steering wheel right or left. At the previous service where they replaced the control arms, he visited four times trying to locate the source of this sound, but they were unsuccessful. In the end, we diagnosed the problem and had to replace all bolts and control arms because the washers were damaged, and incorrect control arms with enlarged holes for an older version of this body style were installed. Additionally, those same bolts were mounted incorrectly by protruding into random spots instead of slots, or in some cases simply from the nut side. The client left not just satisfied but even happy.
